Clyne Gardens Day Course
This course will focus on the varied landscapes of Clyne Park in Swansea. Clyne has a wooded valley, open areas, small streams and a spectacular collection of Rhododendrons. There is always something to see all year round, from it's peak in May when 'Clyne in Bloom' occurs to Autumn colour and Winter frosts.
Flora and Fauna
Birds - Yellow Wagtail, Blackbird, Robin, Mallard Ducks, Blue tits
Mammals - grey squirrel, fox
Plants - Bluebells, wild garlic, Daffodils, Crocus, Snowdrop, fungi
Difficulty level
- Easy to Moderate - this trip is suitable for anyone with a reasonable level of fitness. It involves walks over predominately flat ground with a few moderate to gentle ascents/descents to the main area for photography. All major paths are tarmac or covered in fine gravel. Some of the paths can be in places muddy, covered in stones or bare earth.

The course is limited to a maximum of six participants. This ensures maximum benefits for all participants taking part.

Where to Meet
- We will meet in the car park next to the Woodman Pub, opposite the Blackpill Lido on the Mumbles Road at 9.00am. The car park is divided into two sections; the first section is free for visitors to the Gardens. The barrier section is for customers of the Woodman pub and is pay and display with a refund of the parking fee on any meal purchased.
