Explore Gower Workshop
This workshop will focus on the less well known but still spectacular areas of the Gower Peninsula. We will explore areas such as the wet woodland of Gelli Hir Wood, the moorland of Welshmoor, Arthur's Stone on Cefn Bryn, Broad Pool, the wooded valley of Lunnon Valley and the woods, beaches and marshland of Whiteford Point.
We will be based at the Gower Coast Hotel & Appartments and if you wish to find out more about the hotel click here. All rooms are extremely large double bedrooms, with one equiped for disabled access. The Hotel and appartments are located in the North Gower village of Penclawdd and a short walk form one of our locations on the Loughor Estuary.
Difficulty level
- Easy to Moderate - this trip is suitable for anyone with a reasonable level of fitness. It involves walks over predominately flat ground with a few moderate to gentle descents to the main area for photography. Walking on soft sand can be tiring, and some of the paths can be in places muddy, covered in stones or bare earth.
