This workshop will be held at the Wildfowl and Wetlands Trust Centre near Llanelli. This is the trusts only site in Wales, but it has a large variety of visiting birds and water voles are seen fairly regularly. Wild flowers and insects are also abundant allowing photographic opportunities throughout the year even if birds are difficult to photograph.
Flora and Fauna
Birds - Shelduck, Blackbird, Robin, Mallard Ducks, Blue tits, Berwick Swans, Tufted Duck, Kingfisher plus many more!
Mammals - Water vole, fox
Plants - Bluebells, wild garlic, Daffodils, Crocus, Snowdrop, fungi
Difficulty level
- Easy to Moderate - this trip is suitable for anyone with a reasonable level of fitness. It involves walks over predominately flat ground with a few moderate to gentle ascents/descents to the main area for photography. All major paths are tarmac or covered in fine gravel. Some of the paths can be in places muddy, covered in stones or bare earth.

The course is limited to a maximum of six participants. This ensures maximum benefits for all participants taking part.
