Photowalk 2012 - Swansea Bay

The Photowalk Day course will change location each year, this year it being in Swansea Bay. There will be no formal subject or theme to the day, but the opportunity to explore a location taking any style of photographs you like. Hopefully members of the course will start to feed ideas off each other and develop their creative thinking further, maybe trying styles that they normall wouldn't try. Tripod based or handheld photographs, it doesn't matter, feel free to do what you want. I will be on hand to provide photographic tuition and give ideas and starting points for participants to try.
Swansea Bay is the largest 'park' in Swansea and has some classic viewpoints of Mumbles Head and Swansea Bay itself. We will meet at the Junction Cafe at Blackpill and walk along the seafront towards Mumbles, photographing as we go. Hopefully we will make Mumbles by lunchtime, stop for a bite to eat, explore Mumbles and then make our way back to Blackpill.
Difficulty level
- Easy - this trip is suitable for anyone with a reasonable level of fitness. It involves walks over predominately flat ground with a few moderate to gentle descents to the beach for photography.

The course is limited to a maximum of six participants. This ensures maximum benefits for all participants taking part.

Where to Meet
- We will meet at the back of the Junction Cafe by the outside seating area in Blackpill, Swansea at 9.00am. Car parking is available in the Woodman Pub car park or the Clyne Valley Country Park car park off the Mumbles road, Blackpill.
