Cloud pattern at sunset at Rhossili Bay, Gower Peninsula

I couldn’t resist posting another image of clouds. This was taken on my way down to the beach at Rhossili Bay, and while taking it a walker who was passing by asked me if I was taking photographs of the sky to cut and paste into another image! I really can’t be bothered with techniques like that. I would rather make an image in camera or not at all, plus I got interested in photography to make photographs and not spend my time in front of a computer. Bizarrely, I am quite happy spending hours in a darkroom printing black and white images. Perhaps a case of double standards?

The clouds were quite fast moving that day, and later disappeared completely. Unfortunately a bank of cloud was sitting on the horizon, so the expected sunset did not really happen and the sky went a bit muted and grey in colour. More reason to return!
